Make it and Mend it Wickes £300 competition

#Wickes #competition @makeitandmendit

Make it and Mend it are running a competition to win £300 worth of Wickes vouchers.  To be in with a chance of winning all they ask is for you to write about a home makeover you would do in your home using Wickes products.

I decided to choose the back garden as we have not paid any attention to this space really since we moved in in the summer.....So this morning I thought I'd take a picture of the back garden and I can not believe what an absolute state its in!!  We moved this year and to be honest this is the one area that we kind of left!  Come spring and any dry day in winter for that matter this area is going to get a severe make over!

My ideal make over from Wickes would involve:

Wickes' Heavy Duty Shiplap

Basics: lets get rid of the green unit and the tatty old shed and replace with Wickes' Heavy Duty Shiplap Apex Shed worth £539.99 as we live in a bungalow, space is limited so this size shed is perfect.

 Featheredge Fence Panels
I would then replace the fencing panel that blocks off the back garden to the main street with  Featheredge Fence Panels worth £31.99 each and the divider between us and the neighbours I would use Reed Garden Screening worth £25.52

MicroShades oak Effect Deckboard
So with storage and security taken care of, I would then tackle the entrance into the garden and replace the step (which wobbles!!) with some MicroShades oak Effect Deckboard worth £7.99 each.  This would at least eliminate the rough grass and mud so close to the house entrance... and coming in the house.

To finish my new wooden area off I would dig up the plants which are current living next to the fencing and repot them in some of Heavy Duty Raised Planter Rowlinson which you can purchase from worth £84.00
