5 things I learnt at Christmas with a toddler

5 things I learnt this Christmas

September is a good month to start Christmas Shopping and the Quick! Grabbit it while you can forum on the MoneySavingExpert Website is a Godsend, but can turn you slightly neurotic!

My dog should never ever be allowed to eat Brussel Sprouts - ever again! EVER!!

It is perfectly acceptable to hide your son's toy - especially when it is a chime bell that he's hit you over the head with, caused you to go half deaf from the constant ringing and made the dog howl!

From now on we will take the toys out of the box before wrapping (or AT LEAST undo the ties) due to a little boy waiting patiently .... for the first 40 seconds anyway, whilst mummy or daddy hunt around for a pair of scissors to try and take the sodding cable ties off!!

It is perfectly acceptable (in my world anyway) to use a red bed sheet because you only realise at 6pm on Christmas Eve that the table cloth you bought won't fit the makeshift extended table!!

What to do when you drop your phone down the toilet

So when is the best time to drop your phone down the toilet?

I can tell you when it IS NOT a good time to drop your phone down the toilet, and that is two weeks before Christmas when you've spent ALL your money on presents and it is 7.20am and you have 10 minutes left to get your child ready and out the door!
