So, meet the team:
Ocean Finance are running a fabulous competition for bloggers little ones to build their dream home out of Lego, and we have been so lucky to have been selected to take part! Max was tasked with creating his dream home and armed with a bumper box of Lego from Ocean Finance, his Lego and his junior builder (aka daddy) he set about building his 'Chill out house for superheroes'
Lego Dream Home Competition.
Although young, the architect is very accustomed to Lego and is quite used to building from blueprints and his imagination and was very happy to take up the challenge to build his dream home where the superheroes come to visit and chill out.

The house, inspired by superheroes has 2 identities and whilst the world knows the front of the house to be the design from a blueprint issued out to many, with common features so as not to attract attention, the secret entrance to the home is to the side, the side that not all can see.

The side of the house is where the superheroes come to relax with Max in his house, the side that is not seen by all but only those who need it.  There is a Helipad on the roof  for Spider-man's flying car, Ant-man's helicopter and of course the pterodactyls!

Should any villains such as 'crocci' (aka the Lizard), Venom or Green Goblin come to 'upset playtime' then Thor's pet dino will be out front to scare them away.

For the darker nights... some of the heroes like to hang out at the back of the house, where not much is going on and is a great chill out zone to watch TV and play 'real' Mario Karts.

So there we have it.  This is my son's entry into Ocean Finance's Lego dream home competition.  Whilst I've written the blog, I've tried to keep the content close to what I discussed with him as he was building the house.  He did have some help from daddy, but this was more of a helper and gofer role by asking for specific coloured bricks, sizes and of course heroes.

If the helper and the architect continue on their Lego building journey, then one day - this may well be the house we live in - if nothing else, just to find somewhere to store all the Lego... (less the pet Dinosaurs, I'm not ready for the Jurassic world yet!).
