Testing Vitamin C Eye Gel #Bonapiel

A couple of weeks ago I was given the opportunity to review the new Bonapiel Vitamin C Eye Gel.  Now, I've had a pretty bad February and if my eyes ever need some TLC, now is the time!   My eyes are looking pretty puffy and carrying some nice dark circles, so a perfect time to try out Bonapiel!

What is Bonapiel Eye Gel?

This eye gel, which is created by Bonapiel is designed to rejuvenate skin with non-greasy anti-ageing eye cream.  The product is designed to improve dark circles, puffiness, bags, fine lines and crows feet with a small amount rubbed under and over the eyes twice a day.  The product currently costing just under £25 can be purchased from Amazon.

How did I find it?

Well, it's not greasy for starters.  You apply as instructed and then leave the product alone to soak in.  I apply this gel as part of my morning ritual which isn't an issue as I can get on whilst the product is absorbing, takings around 5 minutes.  I also apply at night when taking off my makeup.  This is the last task that I complete as I'm not one to be faffing in the bathroom waiting for 5 minutes at night for products to start to work their magic before going to bed.

I did find that in the mornings my eyes were less puffy and my skin slightly smoother in appearance.  The dark circles were still there, but maybe just slightly lighter.  These I feel will need more work, maybe earlier nights and more water to help them along their way!

I'm confident the product is working, as I mentioned in the mornings it is more noticeable than in the evenings after the morning application.  The only thing I would say is I believe this product needs to be applied twice a day, daily for the duration of the bottle to get maximum impact, and that is where I may falter, for every will in the world I try to take off my makeup before bed, but some days, I may end up crashing on the sofa and staggering off to bed at midnight... and it's those days I wonder if I've just lost a day of rejuvenation?

I've had the product 2 weeks to date, and I am satisfied with the product to date, but feel 2 weeks is only the beginning so will post a final picture up in a month's time, to get a better idea of how my dark circles really are coming along.

Helping with the bags and dark circles
Do you have any wonderful products that help us mums look like we've actually had a wonderful 8 hours sleep?.....
