Review: NICI plush toys

We were recently sent some products from NICI UK to review and I must say we were not disappointed.  NICI products are beautifully made, very soft to the touch and most importantly loved by Max.

NICI first began as a private home operated stuffed animal manufacturer in Germany in 1986 and has grown to become a global producer of high-quality goods.  It's not hard to see why, these products are very good quality and wonderful to the touch.

All products are decided and created by the staff in Franconia, Germany and if you click on any of the links below you will see there is a variety of themes and creatures to choose from.  We received the Jolly Sleepy range.

 NICI Slippers £17.26 from Amazon

Very soft to the touch with a good solid base and a small heal to keep the slippers on.  We have a size medium and these would easily fit a size 5-6 comfortably.  Very comfy and due to the small heal stops the slippers from flying off in front of you - yeah, you know what I mean.

NICI Pencil case £7.19 from Amazon

Described as a pouch, it is ideally a pencil case and made for a 15cm ruler and standard size pencils.  As Max is a wee bit small for pencils, he put his crayons in it and now carries it around like a bag.....

NICI Soft Toy £14.99 from Amazon

This beautiful little soft toy is 25cm in size and so soft.  Max doesn't have a favourite teddy but since we've received this sheep he has taken to picking him up and sitting with it in the evening whilst having his milk and watching Tom and Jerry.  Tonight he even fell asleep with it, which is a first for him.

and finally, I saved the best until last.

NICI Money Bank £12.71 from Amazon

This gets daily use from Max.  He absolutely adores it.  I gave him 2 10p pieces and showed him where to place them.  At present, he sees this as a game rather than saving money and daily sits on the floor giving me the money box to undo as he can't quite work out the bottom and then places his money in the top.  I often leave the lid off the bottom for him but did find the size of the slot in the top will allow the money to come back out.

The money bank is a big hit in our house and because it's not made of any material that will break or get damaged it's ideal for teaching little ones to save money.

Below are images of Max (and my feet) reviewing our products and as you can see they were a hit in our house.

They are also stocked in Newbridge Nursery at Horsham for those who are local.
