If Max wakes up at now 7am that is too late for us all to get up, washed, dressed, fed and out the door so we need to put steps in motion to try and prepare for this hour lost.
So for the past 2 weeks I have brought his bedtime forward half an hour, the first week was 7.45 and the second week was 7.30. Due to the fact that mummy and daddy both work I can't bring his bedtime forward any more than that as it starts effecting our time with him from getting home, tea, bath, unwinding and bed.
Max has other plans!
Max's molars number 11 & 12 are making their appearance and the boy just has not been sleeping. He goes to bed at 7.30 up at midnight, 2am, 3.30 and then 5.30 well the day just starts then.
So I have no idea what will happen when the clocks go forward. I'm confident by the end of April we will be back to 8pm I'm also hoping those molars will be through and we get back to sleeping through the night... at least until the fangs start making an appearance.
So here is a picture of Max and his rosy teething cheeks - the snake did not go to bed with him!
My poor little boy still struggles with time changes - do you have any hints or tips for settling children when the clocks change? Feel free to share them with me below.
