My budding little Gardener

We were lucky enough to receive a free gardening starter kit from BritMums in conjunction with Moneysupermarket's  #KidsGrowWild Challenge.

I chose this weekend just gone to plant Max's seeds with him as it was a beautiful afternoon and with this British weather you have to grab your chances when you can as you never quite know when the next rain cloud is coming.

My budding little Gardener

We recently purchased Max a playhouse which you can read about here.   So I thought the front of his house would be the ideal place to plant his flowers.  We popped up to B&Q and purchased a couple of plastic troughs and soil a few days earlier so everything was ready to go.

This style of wearing your sunglasses is a must for any budding gardener.

After filling up our troughs mummy put the seeds in - just in case little hands found their way to his mouth and we filled up the watering can - which Max loves to pieces.  Now he's only 19 months old but he knew exactly what to do with his water, so I'm guessing they do gardening at the nursery too.

Each night before tea we will give the seeds their water and see what appears - if I can stop Max from eating the soil that is.
