On Saturday we/he spent time at the local Lido (no pool, just amusements and rides) with one of his friends and then spent time on the beach looking for crabs.
On Sunday we were the other side of the pier and after spending time at Splash point park and splash pad area we set up on the beach armed with blankets, buckets and lunch - and we had the best time!
It felt like we were on holiday. The sun was shining, the tide was out so we had some sand and we had great company. It's days like that make me realise just how lucky I am - it doesn't get much better than this.
