We have been given the opportunity to review the book How to Catch a Star which is celebrating its 10th anniversary.
This lovely book is illustrated by world-renowned Oliver Jeffers and it really is beautiful. The story is about a boy who loved stars very much. Every night he watched the stars from his window and wished he had one of his very own.
This is rather fitting in our household at the moment as we are potty training and the rewards are stars so as you can see by our images our boy is loving this book and all the stars he finds within it.
We found this book was perfect in size and story for Max, we read it a few times (about 6 but who's counting) in a row and is definitely a hit in our home.
As I said, this is the 10th anniversary of How to Catch a Star and Harper Collins are celebrating this by giving away copies of this hardback edition which is out on 27th March for £12.99.
I am fortunate enough to have been given 2 copies from Harper Collins. One for us to review and one to giveaway to one of my readers. I am also giving away the pack of glow in the dark stars.
Not only will one of my readers get a gift but Max's nursery will also benefit from this anniversary too as also in my goody box came a USB filled with activity sheets for little ones to enjoy. If you would also like a copy of the activity sheets please feel free to download them here - ideal for the Easter Holidays.
I was given 2 How to Catch a Star books for the purpose of this review.
All opinions are my own.
