Worthing's 2022 Pantomime - Jack and the Beanstalk

Jack is back and she totally rocked the stage, let alone the beanstalk!

I LOVE that the wonderful Katie Pritchard is Jack in this year's Pantomine Jack and the Beanstalk.  After watching her as the Fairy Godmother in Cinderella and Crepe in Beauty in the Beast, my heart burst with joy to see her name on the lineup this year.

Jack and the Beanstalk is the 2022 Panto for Worthing

Katie is hilarious and naturally funny on stage, but she's also got an amazing voice and her rendition of Kate Bush's Running Up That Hill gave me goosebumps.

Packed with "dad" jokes to make you groan, a baddy to hiss and boo at and the classic "it's behind you", this year's panto did not disappoint and was as much fun as the last and really gets everyone ready for Christmas.

We watch Mark Read (boyband A1), playing the handsome Prince Louis, and the chemistry with Katie, playing Jack, develop over the hour-and-a-half show and how Jack rescues the Prince from the evil clutches of the Giant.

The story is told by the beautiful Flavia Cacace-Mistry (Strictly come dancing) in the most beautiful fairy outfits, which really were rather stunning and sparkle wonderfully with her dancer moves.

The classic 12 days of Christmas is always chaos, and mayhem and leaves the audience in stitches, poor Mark kept losing his balls and the hilarious Dave Benson-Phillips (playing King Crumble) nearly strangled himself with the toilet rolls, yes, this is Panto at its finest - and we love it!

So get down to the Pavilion Theatre and enjoy Fe-Fi-Fo-Fun with Jack and the Beanstalk.  The Pantomime runs at the Pavilion Theatre from Thursday 1 December 2022 to Monday 2 January 2023.

Tickets are available from £10.
