What are my findings with MultiFocal contact lenses

Featured promotional post with ACUVUE® #AD

I've been wearing my 1-DAY ACUVUE® MOIST Brand MULTIFOCAL Contact Lenses for two weeks now and they now feel like a part of me.
In my first 1-day Acuvue® moist multifocal post, I mentioned that when I first inserted my contacts it could take up to two hours for my vision to settle.  However, to my amazement, this is no longer the case.

I first insert my contacts between six and six-thirty each morning and they don’t come out until around eight at night- when I am doing my bedtime routine with my son.

With the help of these lenses, I can now clearly see in duller lights, allowing me to sew in the evenings again. Struggling with my vision was beginning to get me down if I'm honest.  I was struggling to thread a needle, and I'm not a fan of hand sewing at the best of times!

I like how I don't need to purchase reading glasses now.  I don't like wearing my 'normal' glasses for any long periods of time, as they cause extra pressure on my face when I have sinusitis, which is hormonal, so monthly!
I'm still getting used to how thin these contacts are. They are taking me a little extra time in the mornings to get used to, but that's from years of inserting thicker lenses.

Most importantly for me, other than seeing clearer in the evenings, I am so pleased with the length of time I can wear these lenses comfortably. They don't hurt my eyes at all! I find them comfortable from the moment they are inserted until I start my night time routine (when I remove the lenses)!  This is such a big bonus for me!

If you've had your eyes tested but haven't been offered contact lenses, don't be afraid to ask!

I'm off to finish my TARDIS hoodie now because I can!

  1. Wow. I hadn't heard of these. I definitely must investigate whether these would work for me as I had to give up on contact lenses a couple of years back and swap to varifocal glasses due to my eye sight changing
