Room on the Broom cosplay for Halloween

Carrying on with my theme of making this year's Halloween all about Room on the Broom, I've now completed the second accessory, the ribbon.

My plan for Halloween is to have several ribbons dotted around the front garden for the children to spot on their way around the streets trick or treating, so I bought a meter of yellow fabric with red spots.

I found the perfect fabric on eBay.  I cut the material into strips and sewed up the sides and edges to give the appearance of ribbons.  They are not perfect, but I'm hoping they will give the correct effect come October.

I've left the ribbons as long strips with the exception of one, which I've tied into a bow for my hair.

As luck would have it, I managed to find a red top in the British Heart Foundation charity shop.

My next mission is to find blue and purple fabric for the skirt.  So far, this is proving to be a bit of a challenge. So if anyone spots this fabric please do drop me a message
