GMC Publications • February 2021  RRP £12.99 • for ages 4-8

If you want to show your children how they can reduce, reuse and recycling but not sure where to start, this book is for you!  With over 30 projects to make from everyday household recycling, you'll have little Eco-warriors in no time.

About The Eco Craft Book:

Written by the bestselling blogging mums Laura Minter and Tia Williams (of Little Button Diaries fame), their new book, The Eco Craft Book, will encourage children to make use of things that might otherwise end up being thrown away.

Most of what you need you will find in your recycling box, but for other useful supplies, you will find a handy guide and advice on what gets a planet-friendly thumbs up and what to avoid.  Throughout the book, you’ll find facts, tips and handy hints on how to be a crafty eco-warrior.

There are also special information sections dotted throughout covering: getting outside and being kind to the Earth, how to throw a cool eco party, tips and ideas for climate activism and an overview of the main climate issues we face.

Making Paper seeds

I am so so pleased to see in this book is how to make paper with seeds.  It has been on my to-do list with Max for ages, and being locked in, homeschooling and working, this was such a great light relief craft to do!

We are going to make more of these and place them in Thank You cards for the teachers this year (does that mean I get one?).

With over 30 projects and talking points, we are going to be kept very busy this year.  I can't wait!  Keep an eye out on Instagram for updates on the projects as we make them.
