I am rather pleased with how this stool turned out! I'm having a bit of a 'mare with my spray paints at the moment - well my chalkboard paint to be precise and it's spitting and flicking at me at every opportunity, so I've sort of lost the will with these projects............ until today!

And believe it or not those two steps were the easy ones! Finding a piece of fabric was the most difficult! I don't usually have this problem and usually have fat quarts or random pieces at home, but the cupboard was bare! I spent the next couple of weeks watching various pieces on eBay, but they were going for way too much for me.
Finally, a lovely spidey piece came up (was actually aiming for Captain America as I'd painted the stool by now - but never mind - spider-man is slowly taking over my house)! So I received the piece - only to find I hadn't measured the seat correctly and the piece was too small!! Whilst standing in the hall cursing myself I notice a perfect piece hanging over the CD unit (told you, Spider-man is everywhere). So I used that!

My only regret is I didn't give it a bit of padding. After creating the pin board I still had some wadding left over which would have been perfect - but hey, if we ever (not likely) get bored of Spidey I'll keep that in mind when I recover it again.

I don't know how you do it. Amazing results every time! I wouldn't have seen any hope for that stool but you've made it look fabulous. x
