I appear to have signed the family up to do a run!

Do you ever get one of those "seemed like a good idea at the time" moments only to reflect and think sh*t?!  Well, I signed my family up to the KAPOW run at Preston Park in Brighton on 14th July!

Did you catch that word in the second sentence?  Run!  RUN!!  I haven't competed in any form of running event since I was 12 years old!  I do not have the body of a runner!!

Some of the best Easter Egg hunts aren't always run by big companies!

This year, one of my favourite charities HFT put on various Easter Egg Hunts around the counties with Kent being their biggest and most popular.

Unfortunately, we were unable to get over to Kent for the main event, but we were able to pop up to the Sussex Orchards on the 4th April for a mini-event.

We went on a Bear Hunt with HFT Sussex and it was fantastic!

Two years ago we went on a Gruffalo Adventure with the HFT charity; the Sussex division is local to us and I was a little more than excited to hear they were organising a Bear Hunt adventure this September!

IT WAS AMAZING!!!

Last year I wrote about the wonderful experience we had on the Gruffalo hunt thanks to HFT (who by the way, are running the hunt again this year so I highly recommend a visit).  But this post is to mention something new I found through HFT - Core Fest!

We didn't have a lot of money when I was growing up, in fact, looking back I don't know how my mum managed to feed, clothe and keep us warm in winter with the few pennies coming in each week, let alone buy us presents at Christmas!

I came across Post Pals when reading another blog and hearing about the amazing Alice Payne.

Post Pals is a charity with a big difference. This charity has been set up to put smiles on seriously ill children by sending them letters, cards or even little gifts.
