What I watched Autumn 2016

I've started to write up what I've been binge watched this year, with finding the fabulous Magicians in the Spring and the very popular Stranger Things in the Summer, so what did I catch this Autumn?

Peaky Blinders

This was one I liked, not hooked and couldn't turn off after 3/4 episodes, but good all the same. It has an IMDB rating 8.8 and the summary from BBC:

This program tells the story of a gangster family set in 1919 Birmingham and centred on a gang who sew razor blades in the peaks of their caps, and their fierce boss Tommy Shelby, who means to move up in the world.

Whilst I say I can take or leave this show, I'm very much keen to see how it all pans in out in season 4!  Oh and Tommy Hardy was a nice little surprise!

Lucifer

This is currently on Amazon and I've already started with season 2, but after a couple of episodes I think I will wait until the end so I can binge watch it.

The Devil has decided to leave hell and spend some time on earth, in human form, and with his thirst for lust, this makes him the idea nightclub owner.  He has the power to make people tell him their deepest darkest secret which also helps his new cop friend in catching killers.  That, is really what the program is about, a crime program with a hint of supernatural.

Has an IMDB rating of 8.3, and although it is a program about the devil, no one believes him, which is a great twist to the show.

Containment

Only has 1 season with 13 episodes but still fab!  I love this program as it has a virus/outbreak theme to it.  The show is about how America is trying to contain a virus that has broken out in a city by blocking them in with shipping containers and leaving them to ... well die off really!
Containment

With minimal police inside the block its all about how families survive through the devolution of humanity.  IMDB rating 7.2.

Freaks and Geeks

Oldie but a goodie!  Just released on Netflix and this totally passed me by the first time around!  No idea how!

First released in 1999, the cast sure has grown up since then, least of all 'sweets' from Bones!  Has an all-star cast with James Franco, Seth Rogen and Jason Segel to name a few!
8.9 on IMDB and maybe, we all love this show because there is a geek or freak in all of us.

Give it a watch!

So, what do I need to watch over winter guys?
